Montana! Life Under The Big Sky is now an official program for the Glacier Park Centennial. With a generous grant for The Burlington Northern Santa Fe and The Glacier Fund, I will be performing this show for schools across Montana.

I am once again out on the road leaving for some educational conferences. I am trying to get the word out to various schools that my American West Series is a great option to teach students about American History through the Arts. Oral History is the tradition of sharing events through storytelling and songs and lyrics. Right on!

This is just a little musical project I finished when I was building our cabin at one of our favorite little fishing holes in Montana.

If you have never been to the Big Sky Country, David’s music can take you there. His combination of words and music will help you see, hear and feel what he lives every day. David has a way of capturing the American West with his original songs and visual performances.

With his guitar, harmonica and original songs, David will tell stories about the early explorers of Lewis & Clark, the Native Americans, the wild frontiersmen, the lifestyle of the American West, and even his own adventures as an Alaskan Homesteader.

So if you find yourself traveling west, somewhere near Montana, you owe it to yourself to check out David’s live performances at the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. It might mean exiting off the main highways and taking the back roads, but the trip and musical experience are definitely worth it. Or give him and call and have him bring a piece of the Big Sky to you and your special event.

I am still working on a busy school program this year, and getting ready to update some of my shows. So it will be a busy winter, and maybe I'll fit some skiing in there as well! See you on the trail.

The trees are changing, the temperatures are dropping and the tourists are fading ~ time to head back over the Pass to my family in Whitefish.
This is my last full week at the historic Many Glacier Hotel for the 2007 season. I'll be comping the shows all week ~ so c'mon over and experience Glacier in September and listen to some Montana music while you're here!
